This is the 2019 CX-5 Maxx Sport finished in Soul Red Crystal, travelled minimal kilometres and it presents far better than you would expect for its age. The paintwork is in really good condition and the overall exterior and interior presentation would not suggest the kilometres it has travelled. Mazda has a fantastic name in the market and the CX-5 continues to improve with each generation.
Grey Mazda alloy wheels set the car off nicely and the interior features a cloth trim that is in good order, along with a full set of CX-5 floor mats. Safety has been well considered with multiple airbags throughout, including side airbags, traction control, lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring displayed in the mirrors. The mirrors are also power folding so they do not get knocked about at the shopping centre.
Push button start is fitted, along with active cruise control which allows you to maintain distance to the vehicle in front, something Mazda was well ahead of the curve on for 2019. The head unit incorporates satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with voice activated Bluetooth. Messages can be read out and replied to using the voice command button on the steering wheel. A reversing camera is fitted and complemented by rear parking sensors, while Mazda Commander Control, the centre console mounted controller make the audio system very easy to use.
The automatic transmission can be driven as an automatic or used manually and includes both normal and sport driving modes, with Mazda's sport mode engaging instantly. Features also include i-stop technology, dual zone climate control, electric handbrake with auto brake hold, auto wipers and auto headlights. Taller drivers will appreciate the generous headroom and the comfortable driving position.
